From 495: Exit at River Road and proceed east, (towards DC). At the 4th traffic light turn left onto Whittier Blvd. (first traffic light after Wilson 188). There will be a large sign on the corner for the church, immediately followed by a driveway. This driveway is the exit, so you cannot enter. Proceed about 40 feet to the second driveway on the left which is the entrance. The building is in a wooded area, not visible from the street.
From DC: Massachusetts Ave to Western Ave (at Westmoreland Circle) proceed northeast, then left on River Road, right on Whittier Blvd (first traffic light after Goldsboro Road 614). Second left on Whittier is the entrance to the parking lot (the first is the exit).
You can park anywhere in the lot. Walk up the hill to the main entrance of the building (in the middle with several glass doors). Once inside, turn left and follow the signs to the Fellowship Room. You will be walking through a room next to the lobby and continuing down a hall with glass on both sides (it is an indoor bridge over a driveway). At the end of this bridge corridor, the Fellowship Room will be on your right.
